Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania police have said that a one-year-old boy that was reported missing a few weeks ago has been found in New York with his father and that the father has been charged with crimes related to taking his son that include kidnapping because he didn't have custody of his son at the time he traveled to New York. While traveling over state lines likely won't make him eligible for assistance from a New York custody lawyer, it's likely that the man may have much bigger problems than simple custody issues since kidnapping charges often carry significant jail time.
