Helmet Law Fight in South Caroline

Description:

A senator in South Carolina recently introduced a bill that would require all residents of the state to wear helmets while on motorcycles whether they were made of Honda parts or domestic parts or any type of motorcycle components. There are some public hearings to be scheduled on the subject and the Senate Transportation Committee will likely soon hear arguments for and against the inclusion of a motorcycle rule into the state's rulebook. Currently, only riders younger than twenty one years of age must wear a helmet while riding in South Carolina but the bill would require all residents to wear helmets.
