Mold is a type of microscopic fungi and also includes things like yeasts and mushrooms. They can grow in an amazing number of different circumstances and reproduce at a terrific rate when conditions are favorable. Amazingly, there have been over two hundred and fifty strains of mold that have been found to be present just inside people's homes in North America. People often have to have mold cleaned from their homes when it becomes an infestation and will often use mold paint to restrict the growth of new mold. Damp areas of the home are often most susceptible to mold.
