Trusting Computers

There has been the introduction of computer technology into a significant amount of the machines that we use each day and it has become commonplace to put trust in a complex machine or computer vision  option in many areas of life from the personal to the professional. It seems that sometimes when a machine or computer fails a person is likely to blame the machine itself for the failure but breakdowns can often be traced to human error and can often be fixed when that error is identified. Interestingly, computer errors have been known to occur after an incorrect programming or calibration by their technician.
